August 11, 2026, marked a
significant milestone for Toyota Auto Auction (TAA) as officers of Toyota
Motor Philippines (TMP) and Toyota Tsusho Philippines Corporation (TTPh)
officially signed the Joint Venture Agreement during a ceremonial event held at
GT Tower in Makati City.
The agreement signifies a
strengthened partnership and a shared commitment to advancing TAA's vision and
long-term objectives. The ceremonial signing was led by key executives from
both organizations, including TMP President Masando Hashimoto, TMP Vice
Chairman and Treasurer David Go, TTPh President Koji Katsumoto,
and TTPh General Manager Yoshihiro Goto.
Also in attendance were
executives and representatives from TMP, TTPh, and TAA's major seller, Toyota
Financial Services (TFS), who gathered to witness this important occasion
and celebrate the collaboration between the two organizations.
During the event, Mr. Goto
reflected on TAA's journey, describing it as a challenging yet rewarding one.
He acknowledged the dedication and resilience of TAA's employees, whose
